You pace around your living room, running your fingers through your hair. "What am I going to get him! Think (Name) think!" It was only days from Christmas, and you still hadn't found a gift for your best friend (and long time crush) Germany. "The stores are all out of things I could give him. Oh God, what am I going to do!"

You heard a knock on your door and you ran over. When you opened, you saw the Italian man you had invited. "Italy!"

"Ciao, bella! Why did you- whoa!" You pulled the man in and put your hands on his shoulders, looking him dead in his eyes.

"Italy. I need a gift for Germany. Now!"

"Is that-a what this is all about? Bella, calm down. I know exactly what you can give him!"

"I swear Italy, if you tell me to give him pasta…."

"Oh… well, we can think of something else."

You flopped down onto your couch and curled into a ball. "Italy, what am I going to do. He's my best friend and I can't find anything for him." You looked up at Italy. "You know him too. What does he like? I've run out of ideas."

Italy was silent for a moment. "Ve~ He likes beer, and wurst, and rules and….beer."

You sighed. "I know Italy, but what else?"

"He likes you, (Name). You could give-a him a kiss!" You blushed a bit at his comment.

"I-Italy. I'm pretty sure he only likes me as a friend, not like that."

"No (Name), he really does! He tells me how pretty he thinks you are, and how much-a he likes you! Prussia told me that Germany has had daydreams about you too. He also said that after the dreams, he goes into the bathroom and-"

"Thank you, Italy!" You threw your hand over his mouth. You sat for a moment, then spoke again. "Fine, I know what I'm going to do."

~~~~~~At Axis Christmas Party~~~~~~

You tugged at your (favorite color) dress. You had been at the Axis Christmas party for a couple of hours now, but you still didn't have time to give Germany his present.
You stared at the wall thinking of all the things that could happen. 'Italy could of just been trying to cheer me up! What happens if it was all lies? What if I mess up our whole relationship?!'

"(Name), are you okay? You seem a little odd tonight." You jumped a little when Japan began to speak to you.

You began to turn a little pink. "Yes, I'm fine Japan, thank you for asking. It's just…hot in here. I think I'm going to step outside for a minute to cool down."

You went out and felt the cool December air around you. You began to admire the full moon above. You must have zoned out because the next think you know, Germany is putting his coat over your shoulders.

"It's not good to stay out in the cold vithout a jacket." Germany looked down at you with his ice blue eyes.

"T-thank you." You managed to squeak out.

Germany gave you a look. "Japan vas right. You aren't vell. (Name), vhat's vrong? Please, I don't like seeing you like this."

You pulled his jacket around you even more so you could hide your bright red face in it. "I got you a Christmas present but I don't think you will like it. Italy told me you would, but I just think he was trying to cheer me up."

"(Name)…" Germany pulled you into a loving hug. "You know that doesn't matter to me. All that matters is that you, Italy and Japan are having a nice Christmas."

After Germany let you go, you looked up at him. "Can I still give you your present?"

"Ja. Let's go inside first, it's getting cold." Germany turned around and you grabbed his hand.

"No. It's out here." You pulled him a little closer and looked at him straight in the eyes.

"Vhere is it then (Name)?"

"Here. Ich liebe dich Ludwig*" You pulled him into a sweet, passionate kiss.

As you pulled away, Germany rested his forehand against yours. "I love you too, (Name)."

~*~*~Extended Ending~*~*~

"You know vhat (Name)? You stole my gift."

"I think you should still give it to me though." You gave him a playful smile.

"I vould love to." A few seconds after Germany gave you another kiss, you two saw a bright flash.

"Keseseseseses. This will be an amazing photo to show your kids~."

"Bruder!"

And with that, Prussia was off.
